Our History: From 1987 to the present……

It was 1987 when Dr. Lowe and Dr. Rossopoulos made the decision to open a private practice. The opportunity came in the spring when they purchased the Whittier Pediatric – Orthodontic Dentistry practice of Dr. Warren Jessop who was retiring. The original location was on Floral Drive in a quiet residential community. Their office was one of three in the Floral Drive Medical Dental building owned by Dr. Harold West and McDermaid. Dr. West along with his Associates, Drs. Rosie Lim and Bezhad Gilani, maintained the premier pediatric medical office in Whittier. They practiced across the breeze way adjacent to the prized “Bird Cage” that housed several dozens of doves. After 8 years of dedicated work and expanding the practice to include adults and the elderly, Dr. Lowe and Ross relocated to the Uptown area of Whittier where they now practice, the Doctor’s Medical Center.

As the Whittier practice grew, the doctors studied the demographics of the area and realized another opportunity, and so in 1990 the doctors opened their doors to a practice in Hacienda Heights which they maintained until 2010. In 1989 they noticed that many of their patients were moving out to the more affordable Inland Empire. They saw the potential of the fast growing city of Corona and decided to start their third practice, a small dental office on the West side of town. After several years at this location they needed more space to accommodate the increasing number of patients. The dental office was moved to its current location in the Magnolia Avenue Medical building. As the doctors continued to focus on their work to serve the community and the growing practices, the determination was not yet over. The desire to also establish a location in Orange County to provide oral healthcare services to the people in the area initiated the opening of the Huntington Beach office in 2006. The Whittier and Corona offices will soon celebrate their silver anniversaries.

Dr. Oariona Lowe and Evangelos Rossopoulos are very proud of their long history of serving and providing care to the “extended family” of patients. A third generation of new patients are now being seen in their offices.

Thank you to our loyal families. We love you all!
